In the morning session we learnt about Transaction Processing System (TPS). Transaction processing systems consist of computer hardware and software hosting a transaction-oriented application that performs the routine transactions necessary to conduct business.Examples include systems that manage sales order entry, airline reservations, payroll, employee records, manufacturing, and shipping.
In the lab session we had do some:
- feedback & whats next for CIP UPM
- social media (facebook, instagram, youtube, pintrest, google plus)
- website analytic (google, ahrets)
- apps assignment
- improvement in presentation @ suggestions.
There are some knowledge that I gain:
- social media is user generated content (UGC)
- grapevine is a gossips @ word of mouth
- Google + - similar to fb mixture of fb and pintrest. they developed G+ to beat Facebook.
- diffusion of innovation- innovation can be individual or organization
- domain name: for branding purposes:
- .org (organization)
- .com (company)
- .my (country)
- .edu (education)
website evolution:
- the information come from our self.
- web2.0- user has to offer the content. a lot of gossip among user. the process we called word of mouth (WOM). web2.0 introduced by Olewy.
- platform : FB, pinterest, IG
- G+ and pinterset- anything that you interest
